Guten Tag!

Well, we had no internet for the past several days but we are back!

We stopped at the small town of Alsfeld, where the Little Red Riding hood story came from, and then moved on to Burg Trendelburg, where we slept two nights in a haunted castle!  Caleb got to assist the knight with his heavy armour helmut and we met Rapunzel.  The next day we travel to Sleeping Beauty's Castle where we met her and her prince and had a beautiful formal dinner!  Weather here is great!!!!

Day Two- Heidelberg Castle

Guten Tag!

Today we visited Heidelberg Castle and the town of Heidelberg, which has the most amazing architecture and quaint cobblestone streets! The castle dates back to the 1100's and is partly in ruins. It burned three times and in honor of this, they celebrate with fire works and faux burning of the castle 3 times a year, which we were lucky enough to see the fireworks tonight! Tomorrow we are off to a new destination with sketch WiFi. May be a few days before i am back!

Day One! The Trip

Guten Tag!

Has anybody seen the tv screens on the back of the seat in the larger jets!?! Awesome! You can watch recent movies, some tv series, play video games, and a bunch of stuff!  Sure made time go quicker! The most interesting thing about the ride here was watching the sun set behind us and seeing it rise 3 hours later! (that was about the time I realized Caleb and I were going to be in serious jet lag since we didn't sleep! Everyone in Germany has been very nice and almost everyone so far speaks english! Looking forward to EVERYTHING!
